Regional transportation planning organizations in the Triangle must have approved plans demonstrating that they will meet air quality conformity standards by June 2009.
The NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources must have an air quality State Implementation Plan for the Triangle showing how the region will attain the ozone standard by June 2009.
